Stage, power and space requirements

Summary

A four-piece live-lounge line-up needs roughly 4m × 3m, two standard 13A sockets on separate circuits, and 90 minutes to set up and soundcheck.

Requirements

  • A performance area of at least 4m × 3m for a four-piece
  • Two 13A power sockets within 5m of the stage area
  • Level access for load-in, or a lift if the room is upstairs

Space

A four-piece needs about 4m × 3m. A duo or solo acoustic act will fit comfortably into a corner of most rooms.

Power

Two standard 13A sockets, ideally on separate circuits, within five metres of the performance area.

Level access is ideal. If the room is upstairs, tell us at booking so we can allow extra time and crew.

Can you set up before guests arrive?
Yes, and we prefer it. Tell us the room schedule at booking and we’ll build the timeline around it.
Do you need a raised stage?
No. A clear floor area of the right size works perfectly well.
